Helga Zauner New resizedHSSK is proud to announce that Helga Zauner, CFE, MBA, CVA, MAFF has been promoted to managing director in the firm’s Houston office. In her new role, Zauner will work with clients to determine their expert needs for litigation and consulting projects, coordinate the dispute advisory staff, manage engagements and testify at depositions and trial as a financial expert.

Zauner joined HSSK in 2008 as an associate in the firm’s Disputes & Forensics practice and has consistently earned the trust and respect of her clients and colleagues through her technical expertise, professionalism and integrity. She was promoted to director in 2016 in recognition of her invaluable contributions to HSSK and expanding leadership role.

As a director, Zauner exceled as a testifying expert in matters involving complex financial modelling, statistical techniques and damages analyses, as well as at her responsibilities for coordinating, training and mentoring HSSK’s team of analysts and associates in the Houston Disputes & Forensics practice. Her well-deserved promotion to managing director is an important milestone in strengthening the leadership of HSSK for years to come.  

Zauner, who maintains dual American and Mexican citizenship, previously consulted for Mexico’s State of Guanajuato in the areas of econometrics and financial analysis.

She said she has truly enjoyed her 11 years with HSSK, working her way up from her original position as associate.

“The partners and coworkers here are both excellent at their jobs and wonderful people,” she said. “I look forward to many more years at HSSK.”

Jared Jordan, who heads HSSK’s Houston office, said the firm is excited to have its longtime team member taking on the role of managing director.
